Jarrod Bowen exit condition shared at West Ham United amid Newcastle United interest

Jarrod Bowen would only listen to offers regarding a West Ham United exit if it means playing in the Champions League, according to The Mirror.

Ryan Taylor shared the update on Bowen’s future at London Stadium via the outlet’s online edition [25 May] amid interest from Newcastle United.

Bowen is under contract until 2030 and it would therefore require a mammoth offer to tempt West Ham into cashing in on their star performer.

The report read: “Sources stress he would only likely listen to offers that would enable him to fulfil his Champions League aspirations but even then, leaving West Ham could still prove complex and there are no guarantees he would jump ship.”

Jarrod Bowen will stay on at West Ham United

This report adds how Bowen is very settled in East London and is not contemplating a move away this summer or anytime soon.

Bowen, like any player, would obviously be a little more tempted to leave the club should a team competing in the Champions League come knocking.

And in truth, that is not exactly out of the question. We know, for example, how big a fan departed Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was of Bowen’s.

All we know at this stage is that Newcastle are the team showing a serious interest in Bowen, but they are not going to be competing in the Champions League next season – or indeed Europe at all.

The speculation will not go away, but it seems pretty likely that Bowen will stay be an Irons player come August. That, you have to say, is more important than any signing the club make.
