Filip Kostic asks West Ham United for more time to complete transfer – Italian journalist
Frankfurt attacker Filip Kostic has reportedly asked West Ham for more time to allow Juventus to make a move for him, according to Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Alfredo Pedulla.
The Serbian international has been linked to the Hammers however has stalled on agreeing personal terms with the club in recent weeks.
The Italian journalist has now reported on his personal Twitter account on 3 August that the Frankfurt ace is waiting for Juventus to make a move as they are the priority for him.
Pedulla said on his personal website: “Filip Kostic has a good feeling that he can make his Italian dream come true.
“And for this reason, he has asked West Ham for more time.
“He still wants to wait for the last decision of Juventus and as of today, they remain his first choice.”
Kostic Saga Goes On.
The saga to sign Kostic goes on with the Hammers seemingly no closer to landing the versatile midfielder.
With the club confirming Arthur Masuaku’s exit, they will need to sign someone in that area to compete with Aaron Cresswell.
With the amount of time, a deal for Kostic is seeming to take, the club will soon have to re-evaluate the transfer and decide if it is still worth pursuing.

Is it worth signing a player that clearly has his heart set on another club?
With Kostic stalling on a move to London, and other targets becoming unavailable by the day, they may have to analyse the Kostic transfer and potentially move away from him.
It would allow the club to pursue other targets and not have to be Kostic’s second choice, which according to reports, they clearly are.
