Fabrizio Romano: West Ham winger Felipe Anderson due to sign as a Lazio player on Tuesday
West Ham winger Felipe Anderson is expected to sign for Italian giants Lazio tomorrow, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The renowned transfer guru was speaking via his Twitch account on Monday evening [12/07/21] when he was asked for some transfer news on Lazio.
“Felipe Anderson will be in Rome tomorrow to sign as a Lazio player,” Romano replied.

Finally
This is a transfer that has been long in the pipeline now, with Romano himself consistently reporting the news.
Now it appears that a move is on the verge of completion, and the Brazilian just needs to sign the paperwork in order to clinch the deal.
Anderson has been with the West Ham squad for their pre-season camp in Scotland but he was an unused substitute in their friendly versus Dundee on Saturday afternoon, further fuelling reports that he was close to finalising a move back to his old club Lazio.

The deal appears to be a formality now, and it will put to an end an unhappy last couple of years for the 28-year-old.
After starting so brightly in his debut campaign at the London Stadium events have taken a downturn at a rapid rate.
He failed to fire during the 2019/20 campaign before being shipped out on loan to Porto for the following season.
He struggled for game time at the Portuguese giants, and it looks like he is returning to a familiar place in order to restart his career as a top-level talent.
