Fabrizio Romano: ‘Here we go’ for next West Ham United signing as Mohammed Kudus ‘confirmed’
Mohammed Kudus has officially signed a five-year contract with West Ham, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Ghana international is said to have completed his medical on Saturday [26 August] after West Ham agreed a £38million fee with Ajax.
Transfer expert Romano provided an update on the transfer on his Twitter account on Sunday [27 August].
“…here we go, confirmed,” he posted as a follow-up to his previous update.
Stardust
West Ham fans will not rest until they seen an official announcement on West Ham’s website, but this transfer saga is surely now done.
Kudus will add some real stardust to the Hammers’ front line – not that they need a great deal of improvement on the basis their 3-1 wins over Chelsea and Brighton & Hove Albion over the past week.
The 23-year-old scored 11 goals and assisted three more in Eredivisie last season, while he played a direct part in six goals in six Champions League games.

That included a starring role against Liverpool in the group stage, at which point the Ghanaian was seemingly linked with every top team in the Premier League.
As it is, West Ham have won the race for his signature and now all that is left is for the Hammers to post confirmation of their own.
Flying high in the Premier League after three rounds of games and with four great signings made this summer, West Ham fans have every reason to feel excited right now.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers appear to have re-opened talks for one of their previous targets.
