ExWHUemployee’s unbeatable West Ham United sources share major Declan Rice update
Manchester City are yet to submit a bid for West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice, according to ExWHUemployee.
Writing via Patreon on Thursday night (22 June), the reliable Hammers insider claimed that there are reports out there that have jumped the gun in terms of Man City’s pursuit of the 24-year-old England star.
It is understood that some talks were held on Thursday but as of 11pm, no offer had arrived at the London Stadium from the Etihad.

ExWHUemployee said: “Despite rumours today that a suitable bid could be coming in, this is yet to be received and has been confirmed by a number of well-placed sources (who cannot be beaten)
“Any other reports have jumped the gun.
“We will update you if and when the club receive the bid but as of 11pm on 22/6 no bid has been received from Manchester City. Some discussions were held yesterday with the clubs and West Ham are expecting the first bid from Manchester City and a third bid from Arsenal.”
Bidding war
West Ham are now in the position they want to be in.
Man City’s arrival on the scene will no doubt force Arsenal into making bids that are actually acceptable instead of messing around with add-ons, structures and payments.
It’s been reported for some time that a move to the Gunners is more desirable for Rice, who wants to stay in London because a move elsewhere would disrupt his young family’s life.

And while most West Ham fans would rather see Rice head to Man City than join a London rival, we have to respect the midfielder’s wishes due to all he’s done at the London Stadium.
Rice will be a hit at either club, we’ve got no doubt about that.
At Man City, he’d probably get more money and would definitely win more silverware and that makes a move to Arsenal more honourable if anything.
As long as the Irons get the bets deal possible, we’re happy because Rice deserves his big move.
He’ll always be a Hammers legend.
In other West Ham news, West Ham’s sack decision on David Moyes could see this big-money player leave.
