Everything we know about Axel Disasi’s contract situation after dream West Ham start
Axel Disasi has been superb since signing for West Ham on loan from Chelsea.
The Frenchman joined the Hammers on deadline day as Nuno Espirito Santo looked to add a centre-back to his squad before the window closed.
He got that wish, and the 27-year-old came in on loan from Stamford Bridge with initial reservations due to his lack of first-team minutes this season.
The defender last featured in April, but hasn’t showcased any problems after four positive showings in claret and blue so far.
Many Irons fans already want Disasi to sign permanently, and now, West Ham Zone has looked into his current contract situation.

What is Axel Disasi’s current contract situation at Chelsea?
There are no secrets about the centre-back’s struggles in West London, but things certainly look much-improved in E20.
The ex-Monaco man was one of many Chelsea signings to put pen to paper on lengthy contracts, with his £38million move coming with a six-year contract until 2029.
Contrasting reports have emerged over his wages at Stamford Bridge, but a wage of around £78,000 has been suggested.
That sees the ex-France international take home a yearly salary of over £4million after many years earning less than a million per year at Monaco.
That salary is likely to be split now between Chelsea and West Ham, with his loan deal set to continue until the season ends.
Could West Ham sign Disasi permanently?
The defender has another three years on his contract with the Blues and is currently on his second loan spell away from SW6.
He spent the second half of last season at Aston Villa and did well for the most part, and is now showing positive form at the London Stadium.

Should that continue throughout his temporary stint under Nuno, there is no reason why a permanent deal wouldn’t be possible.
It may require tough negotiations with Chelsea, who are bound to demand some sort of fee that the Hammers might not be so keen on.
The decision may be down to Disasi and the Irons to see whether a deal can be arranged, even with his current deal running until 2029.
