Emmanuel Latte Lath agent spotted at West Ham United in transfer twist
Emmanuel Latte Lath’s agent has been spotted at the West Ham United training ground ahead of the January transfer window.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb [17 December], the Hammers have approached Middlesbrough for the 25-year-old with Julen Lopetegui eager to bolster his forward line in East London, and it appears the negotiations are developing fast.
As relayed by Boropolis on X [24 December], Latte Lath’s agent, Matthias Veneroso, uploaded an Instagram story showcasing himself at Rush Green.
West Ham have been monitoring the forward’s developments all season – scouts were in attendance to watch the forward during Middlesbrough’s 6-2 win against Oxford United in November, wherein he scored a hattrick.

The Hammers’ pursuit of Latte Lath can only mean good things for summer signing Niclas Fullkrug, who has struggled at the London Stadium this year.
Fullkrug has endured injury woes throughout his time in England, and his struggles cast doubt on his future in East London only four months after he arrived from Borussia Dortmund.
However, despite Latte Lath tearing up the Championship for Middlesbrough, it is hard to envision a world wherein the Ivory Coast international takes the place of a Champions League finalist.
Nevertheless, the Ivorian would be an astute pick-up for Lopetegui – he is currently averaging a goal contribution every other game on Teesside with 11 in 22 outings.
Furthermore, he would freshen up an ageing front line with Fullkrug, Danny Ings and, Michail Antonio all on the wrong side of 30, and more importantly the latter is expected to be sidelined for 12 months after being involved in a road traffic collision [ExWHUemployee].
Latte Lath is generating plenty of interest ahead of January due to his exploits in the Championship, and as his agent does not represent anyone from West Ham or any reported transfer targets, it appears his future will be in claret and blue.
