Dharmesh Sheth told to expect Divock Origi twist amid West Ham transfer speculation
Dharmesh Sheth has been told that there’s going to be a late January “twist” involving West Ham-linked Liverpool striker Divock Origi.
TalkSPORT journalist Alex Crook told GiveMeSport yesterday (30 January) that there’s a “big possibility” the Hammers will sign Origi, 26, before the January transfer window slams shut at 11pm tonight (31 January).
As quoted on Sky Sports’ Transfer Centre just hours before the transfer window closes [07:22pm], journalist Sheth shared what he’s heard about Origi’s situation at Anfield and also revealed what Wets Ham told him about a possible move to East London.

“I was told yesterday to expect a twist with regard to Divock Origi. There were lots of rumours to say West Ham might be going in for him.
“They then got in touch again to say West Ham wouldn’t go in for Origi. With Dias as well joining, he’s going to be further down the pecking order, but saying that Liverpool have seen him score sp many important goals.
“It won’t be the biggest blow if they don’t get a fee and he leaves on a free in the summer, because he’s scored so many important goals and who’s to say he won’t score more before the season is out.”

No moves at all
David Moyes seems to have failed to sign anyone this month.
While we’re not angry about the lack of business, we are really disappointed and feel as though this is a missed opportunity by the Hammers.
We surely have money to spend – why else would we be bidding such big numbers for Leeds United duo Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips?
But Moyes’ squad is short in the defence with Angelo Ogbonna out for the rest of the season and Michail Antonio remains the only striker at the club.

It’s been over a year since Sebastien Haller was sold to Ajax and now it looks as though three transfer windows will go by without a replacement being brought in.
Last season, our bid for a top-four finish fell to bits when we had injuries to key players.
And our hopes of qualifying for the Champions League have already start to falter, suggesting the club needed some freshening up this month.
We still trust in Moyes and we still trust these players to mount a solid challenge.
We’re just one or two quality players from actually finishing in the top-four as it stands so no new arrivals this month is a let down.
In other West Ham news, the club reportedly have five deals on the table having left it late to get business done.
