Sullivan ‘accepts brutal reality’ as Kudus and fellow West Ham star up for sale
West Ham United are set for a busy summer transfer window as Graham Potter looks to rebuild his squad.
Potter has endured a tough start to life at the London Stadium, as Saturday’s 3-2 defeat to Brighton marked the eighth defeat of the Englishman’s tenure after just 15 games.
The manner of the loss was particularly disappointing, as West Ham took a 2-1 lead through Tomas Soucek with just seven minutes of normal time remaining.
As Potter looks ahead to next season, the Hammers are willing to facilitate the exit of Mohammed Kudus.

Sullivan could let Kudus and Lucas Paqueta leave West Ham
Hammers playmaker Lucas Paqueta is still awaiting the outcome of his FA hearing in relation to betting charges.

Meanwhile, owner David Sullivan has accepted the brutal reality that in order to allow Potter to rebuild his squad, he will need to sanction high-profile exits.
According to GiveMeSport [1 May], the Hammers could be willing to sell Paqueta and Kudus to help make “significant” signings ahead of Potter’s first full season at the London Stadium.

Paqueta and Kudus could prove tough to replace
West Ham are set to finish 17th in the Premier League, demonstrating why Potter is so keen to bring his own players to the London Stadium in the summer transfer window.
The former Brighton boss has guided the Hammers to just three wins in 15 attempts since replacing former boss Julen Lopetegui.
Potter has set his sights on the potentially exciting addition of Benfica forward Vangelis Pavlidis, who has notched 28 goals and 10 assists in 49 outings for the Portuguese outfit.
The Hammers are also keen on Lille duo Angel Gomes and Jonathan David, who are both out of contract at the end of the season.
But the exits of both Paqueta and Kudus could be damaging for the Hammers, while the wideman proved his worth when he scored against Brighton on Saturday, and recently caused Liverpool problems in a narrow defeat at Anfield.
Paqueta has not had his best season, but he proved what he is capable of last term when he scored eight goals and made seven assists.
