Danny Ings transfer exit update emerges at West Ham United as Wolves plan loan move – John Percy
Wolves are interested in signing West Ham United striker Danny Ings on a loan deal this month, according to John Percy.
The Telegraph journalist shared on 6 January, that Gary O’Neil is an admirer of the Englishman and wants to bring him to the Molineux Stadium on loan this month to boost his attacking prowess.
Ings, who joined West Ham from Aston Villa in January 2023, has scored three goals from 39 appearances for the East London club and has fallen out of favour under David Moyes this season starting just four games.
Moyes decision
West Ham manager David Moyes won’t want to lose too many players in the January transfer window, with the club entering a crucial stage of the season.
They are flying high domestically and in Europe, but now need to keep that momentum in all competitions if they are to have another successful season.

Selling some of their fringe stars could go along way in trying to make a few additions in the January window and Ings is certainly amongst that list given his perennial struggles at the London Stadium.
However, with Michail Antonio facing a brand new injury worry which could see him miss the rest of January it may not be feasible to sanction as sale of the Englishman with Moyes incredibly light up front.
Yes, his career at West Ham United looks incredibly bleak but Moyes must make a snap decision on the striker given his depleted attacking weaponry right now. If they are looking to sell, it must be a straight permanent transfer.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers are ready to “listen to offers” for one big-money player in the January transfer window.
