Danny Ings spotted in West Ham United kit for first time as he poses for behind-the-scenes photos
Danny Ings has been photographed in his West Ham kit taking media images ahead of an official announcement for his £15m move.
The Hammers have agreed a mega-money move for the former England international to join from Aston Villa, as David Moyes looks to bolster his attacking options ahead of the second half of the season.
And now Ings has been pictured in his new kit for the first time, with a behind the scenes image showing him taking his media shots for his new club.
Twitter account WestHamSocial shared the images on their personal Twitter account (20 January), with the caption:
“Danny is in the building. Welcome Ings.”
Brilliant
Considering he’s already posing in the kit and having his pictures taken, it seems like a safe bet to assume that Ings has signed and with the midday deadline not yet hit, he should be able to play against Everton.
West Ham have lost 12 of 19 games in the Premier League this season and currently find themselves in the relegation zone on goal difference.

Their current striker options Gianluca Scamacca and Michail Antonio have scored a combined five Premier League goals so far and that simply isn’t enough to turn the fortunes of the club around right now.
Ings comes into the side with a huge reputation for scoring goals everywhere he goes, and that is what Moyes and West Ham need as they look to move away from the drop zone and up the table.
At £15m it’s a great value deal and now fans can be excited about his debut, with a deal all but done pending an official announcement in a super-fast moving transfer.
