Danny Ings makes West Ham United exit decision in new transfer update
Danny Ings has chosen to stay at West Ham United this season rather than seek a move away in January, according to GiveMeSport.
The news outlet reported on 16 September that the striker would prefer to stay with the Hammers which would help save Julen Lopetegui’s budget and allow him to bolster his team elsewhere.
It is said that Ings is confident that he can win over the Spaniard and show that he deserves some first-team football over Michail Antonio and Niclas Fullkrug.
West Ham United need to play Danny Ings over Michail Antonio
Since the start of the Premier League season, Lopetegui has chosen to stick to his guns and start Antonio as his number nine each week.
In the Hammers’ most recent game against Fulham, however, the Jamaica international was hooked at halftime after a poor performance and was replaced by new summer signing Crysencio Summerville.
Ings was also brought on in the dying embers of the game and had a big impact on the game.
The former Southampton man managed to bag a 95th-minute equaliser against the Cottagers which enabled West Ham to at least scrape a point from the game.

While Fullkrug is sidelined due to injury, it could be the perfect time for Lopetegui to try Ings out and allow him to lead the line and showcase his talents.
These are all ifs, buts and maybes of course but it feels like the 32-year-old could bring a lot more to the table than what Antonio currently is.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers may need to axe a first-team regular if they want to get better results.
