Crysencio Summerville completes West Ham medical as contract twist emerges
Leeds United star Crysencio Summerville has completed a medical ahead of a move to West Ham, according to Florian Plettenberg.
The Sky Sports journalist reported via his personal X account [1 August] that, despite completing his medical, there are still agreements to be made between all parties.
It is understood that there are still details surrounding the player’s contract length, while Leeds and the Hammers have not come to a decision over the final transfer fee yet.

West Ham fans are becoming more frustrated by the transfer developments at the London Stadium, and news like this makes that quite understandable.
It was reported that the Hammers could have to pay an extra £9million in add-ons if they were to sign Summerville this summer [Sean Whetstone], on top of the initial £25million transfer fee.
While it does seem like a lot of money to splash on the 22-year-old after signing Wolves’ captain Max Kilman for £40million [BBC Sport], it is an absolute steal for one of the Championship’s best players last season.
He notched 19 goals and nine assists in 43 matches as the Whites narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League, losing out to Southampton in the play-off final.
Due to this, Leeds cannot afford to push the transfer fee too much higher but the add-ons can certainly add a considerable amount to the initial fee.
Fans will be excited for the young winger to join the likes of Jarrod Bowen, Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Paqueta, and learn from them, even teaching them some of his attacking prowess.
Several clubs around Europe will be keeping an eye on Summerville’s situation at the London Stadium, and if a deal cannot be reached between all the parties, they could be at risk of a hijacked deal.
