Club officials at work over deal to take West Ham United star Gianluca Scamacca to Inter Milan
Club officials are at work over a potential deal to take Gianluca Scamacca from West Ham to Inter Milan, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Sky Sports Italy journalist reported on 2 August that the two clubs are looking to reach an agreement “as soon as possible” for the 24-year-old.
Di Marzio said club officials are currently trying to find some common ground on a deal for the Italy international after the Serie A giants had offered up to £21.6million, but the Hammers are looking for a fee in the region of £25.9million.

Find a resolution
It’s important the clubs are able to find a resolution as quickly as possibly because all those associated with West Ham are likely sick of hearing about Scamacca’s potential exit.
The forward has seemingly agreed to join Inter already and has shown on numerous occasions this summer that he doesn’t want to remain in East London.
Despite previously speaking about his love for his boyhood club Roma, who were desperately trying to sign him until this week, he seems up for moving anywhere in Italy.

This transfer saga has probably massively impacted on David Moyes’s plans for the upcoming season, as he still doesn’t know whether he’ll be able to call upon the forward once the Premier League campaign kicks off next week.
If he is going to make the move, then we really need to force Inter into coughing up a few extra million soon rather than later so we can get a replacement in for him.
In other West Ham news, the club are still eyeing a move for their “dream” midfielder this summer.
