Carlos Soler stance on West Ham United transfer emerges after PSG exit update
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Carlos Soler is open to a move to West Ham United before the transfer deadline, according to TEAMtalk.
The outlet reported via its website on Thursday (15 August) that the Spanish international is keen to play in the Premier League and therefore is willing to make the summer move to the London Stadium.
Julen Lopetegui’s side have made contact with the French club to attempt to learn the conditions of any potential deal for the 27-year-old, with PSG now understood to be willing to sell Soler.
There is a belief that any potential move for the midfielder could be completed for less than £20million with the responsibility now sitting with Tim Steidten to attempt to get a deal over the line.

Few clubs in the world, let alone the Premier League, have been as active as West Ham this summer and the Irons are not showing any signs of slowing their business down anytime soon.
Lopetegui was always going to be eager to revamp the squad left behind by David Moyes last season, but the former Real Madrid manager, alongside Steidten, has overseen some immense changes that few would have expected.
The Hammers’ backline and attacking options look stronger than before and should Soler join Guido Rodriguez in strengthening the midfield, there will be nothing stopping this team from making a push for the European places.
If the Spanish midfielder is as keen on a move to the Premier League as has been reported, the only obstacle for the Hammers to move past will be agreeing a transfer fee with PSG.
Steidten has already shown his negotiating skills in the last couple of weeks so you wouldn’t bet against him knocking a couple of million pounds off of the French club’s asking price to get a deal done before the transfer deadline.
Surely, if this deal is completed that will finally be the end of the Irons’ incoming business this summer.
