Besiktas schedule meeting with Manuel Lanzini this week as West Ham United exit edges closer
Besiktas are set to up their interest in West Ham playmaker Manuel Lanzini this week, with a meeting scheduled between the parties according to Fotomac.
The Argentine playmaker is set to leave the club at the end of his contract after the Hammers opted against triggering his extension clause to keep him beyond the summer.
And according to a new report (12 June) a meeting is now set for this week so the Super Lig side can try to secure his signature quickly ahead of other interested parties such as Aston Villa.

“Bid preparations have started. In fact, according to the news, Beşiktaş management made the first contact with the manager of the 1.67-meter football player and arranged a meeting this week,” they wrote.
Deserved
Lanzini has been nothing short of a fantastic servant to this club during his time in east London and it will be a sad day when he does leave.
With that said however it’s a good time for him to leave the club when you consider that we just won a trophy without him really playing any major part and with the squad likely to be strengthened again in the summer.

At just 30 he’s too young to be going to a league in South America or in the Middle East so moving to Turkey where they still play in Europe and challenge for trophies makes sense.
For him to sign off at West Ham with a trophy and a decent campaign is all we wanted, and now he can go and play out his career and show his ability, while he can continue to push on and show why he made a name for himself at the London Stadium.
Fans will wish him luck but we won’t be too worried about his exit because we know we have better players available now.
