Arsenal transfer news emerges as West Ham United want to sign Emile Smith Rowe

Arsenal are ready to sell Emile Smith Rowe if a suitable offer is made in the summer amid interest from West Ham and Aston Villa, according to Give Me Sport.

The news outlet reported on 7 March that, having played just 357 minutes of first-team football this season, the North London club are now considering cashing in on the fan-favourite.

Both West Ham and Aston Villa have been credited with long-term interest in Smith Rowe, and will be competing for his signature should the call be made for him to leave.

Will West Ham sign Emile Smith Rowe from Arsenal?

Despite the Gunners’ reluctance to sell in January despite a reported bid from West Ham, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that it would take a big offer to snatch him from Arsenal, it now appears they could be willing to entertain his exit.

A lack of first-team minutes this season amid plenty of injury concerns means he has failed to have an impact on Mikel Arteta’s side as they continue to chase the Premier League title and compete with Manchester City and Liverpool.

Smith Rowe would be a top addition to Moyes’ team, particularly if the exit-linked Lucas Paqueta makes the move to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City given their long-term interest, with his creativity in possession having earned him high praise in the past.

His injury history will, of course, be a concern at the London Stadium, but giving him regular playing time and managing his workload could see the Hammers bring the youngster back to his best.
