Arsenal keen to sign West Ham United winger Jarrod Bowen

Arsenal have shown interest in signing West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen this summer, as per ExWHUemployee.

The reliable Hammers source wrote on his Patreon on 24 July that there have been “some talks” about Arsenal’s interest in Bowen, but the club have no intentions of selling.

The Hammers are planning to offer him a new deal once the transfer window closes.

Ambition

The Hammers have shown great ambition in the transfer market, so far, but getting Bowen on a new deal would be massive for the club.

Bowen has progressed leaps and bounds in the last 18 months, and arguably changed his best season in 2021-22.

The 25-year-old scored 15 goals and provided 11 assists in all competitions last season, and he is central to David Moyes’ attacking plans.

Claret and Hugh reported on 22 April that Bowen, who is reportedly on £50,000-a-week wages at the club, would likely be given a deal worth around £100,000 a week.

West Ham

It has been reported that the deal would seal his future at the club until 2025.

BBC pundit Ray Houghton hailed him as “sensational” for his performance against Burnley in April.

While the future of Declan Rice still hangs in balance, the Hammers must tie Bowen to a new deal quickly.

West Ham could look to add another attacking midfielder this summer, provided they ship out either of Said Benrahma or Manuel Lanzini.
