Arsenal hit trouble in beat to beat West Ham to major new signing
Arsenal could compete with West Ham to sign Evan Ferguson but their loan spots are currently full, according to Ben Jacobs.
The journalist reported on 21 January that the Hammers have already enquired about the 20-year-old but could face competition from the Gunners and Bournemouth.
The Republic of Ireland international is on Mikel Arteta’s radar but with their Premier League loan spots full and they have no break clause in Raheem Sterling’s temporary deal.
As a result, the North Londoners would need to buy the striker if talks advance with Brighton before the end of the winter window.

Graham Potter is even without Jarrod Bowen who had often played as a number nine at times under both David Moyes and Julen Lopetegui.
With that being said, bringing a new forward in feels necessary and the signing of Ferguson could be one that suits all parties.
The Irishman has struggled for regular minutes at the Amex in the last two seasons and could become the main man once again under his former manager in East London.
Potter knows how to get the best out of the young forward and if a deal for Jhon Duran isn’t possible then the Seagulls star may be the next best option.
