Arsenal are readying a bid to secure the services of West Ham attacker Mohammed Kudus, according to Sebastien Vidal.

The Weekend Sports journalist reported on 18 December that the Gunners are keen on the Ghanaian and may sell Leandro Trossard to fund the deal.

It's understood that Newcastle and Liverpool are also interested in the 24-year-old. [Sunday Mirror]

Via X, Vidal wrote: "Arsenal are preparing a January offer for Mohammed Kudus (West Ham)! The Gunners are looking to strengthen their attack and could sell Leandro Trossard to fund the deal. Priority to the offensive!"

West Ham are unlikely to let go of Mohammed Kudus without a fight

Kudus has become an integral part of the Hammers' squad since his move from Ajax.

Given his impressive performances, including his goal-scoring contributions and flair on the pitch, the Irons are highly unlikely to let him go without a significant fight.

Kudus has not only been a key player for the first team but also demonstrated his value in the Premier League, making him a prized asset.

Any move for the Ghana international in January would require a substantial financial offer due to his importance to the team and how well he's adapted to the Premier League.

The Hammers would surely demand a hefty sum to part ways with such a talented and influential player, especially considering his recent form and the potential he holds for future contributions.

Clubs like Arsenal, Newcastle, or Liverpool would need to prepare for a high-stakes negotiation to secure his transfer.
