Aaron Wan-Bissaka wants London move with door now open for West Ham United transfer
Aaron Wan-Bissaka wants to move back to London amid interest from West Ham in signing him this summer, according to Stretty News.
According to the Manchester United-focused outlet’s website on 12 July sources indicate the full-back prefers a move to the capital if he leaves Old Trafford where he has a year left on his current contract.
Former side Crystal Palace have reportedly not yet shown an interest in bringing him back and the England international isn’t in favour of a switch to Turkey which has left the “door open” for the Irons to land him.
David Moyes was said to have an interest in the 26-year-old which has been taken up by Julen Lopetegui.
West Ham want to sign Manchester United defender with Crystal Palace unengaged
Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth reported on 2 July that there have been no talks at Old Trafford over an extension to Wan-Bissaka’s contract so now looks like the ideal time for all sides to do a deal.
The Hammers lost Ben Johnson on a free transfer to Ipswich Town despite Lopetegui making a last-ditch attempt to keep him when taking over from Moyes and Vladimir Coufal has interest in Turkey [A Spor, 28 June].
Kyle Walker-Peters has been linked from Southampton amid talks over a deal to send Flynn Downes the other way but a move is considered complicated [Fabrizio Romano, 3 July].
So factors appear to be aligning for West Ham to sign Wan-Bissaka if the new INEOS regime in Manchester aren’t working to extend his stay and the London Stadium would seemingly be his best route back to London.

Defensively Wan-Bissaka would be widely seen as an upgrade on long-time first choice Coufal, although his attacking output may be more debatable.
But with at least one full-back surely needed during the current window there looks to be a major opportunity to land one who is seen as among the best in the world in one on one situations [Guardian].
In other West Ham news, Lopetegui and Tim Steidten have identified their top transfer target and are honing in with a bid already tabled.
