Aaron Wan-Bissaka medical update at West Ham United after Manchester United exit news
West Ham United remain hopeful that Aaron Wan-Bissaka will complete his medical in the next 24 hours, according to Sky Sports News.
The outlet reported on its live blog on Sunday (11 August, 15:40) that while the Manchester United man was meant to undergo tests in London at 4pm, red tape around the transfer has delayed his medical.
Wan-Bissaka is still finalising the terms of his Old Trafford exit, but the right-back is still expected to travel to London this evening as the finer details of the deal are finalised in the coming hours.
Despite this delay, Julen Lopetegui’s side remain optimistic that a deal will be completed to bring the Red Devils defender to the London Stadium ahead of the transfer deadline at the end of August [Dharmseh Sheth, 11 August].
Aaron Wan-Bissaka to exit Manchester United ahead of West Ham United transfer
While there will be some Hammers supporters concerned by the news that Wan-Bissaka’s medical has been delayed, it seems as though the Irons aren’t particularly worried about these recent developments.
There remains a confidence around the London Stadium, at this moment in time, that the former Crystal Palace man will be a West Ham player, even if the deal isn’t quite completed as quickly as was initially expected.
With the new Premier League season only a matter of days away, Lopetegui will want Wan-Bissaka through the door as quickly as possible to ensure that he is ready to start against Aston Villa in the first match.

If the Hammers can confirm this signing either on Sunday evening or early on Monday (12 August) morning, the defender will have a full week of training with his new teammates ahead of the opening game.
Hopefully, the Irons’ confidence hasn’t been misplaced and this transfer will be completed sooner rather than later.
It will be interesting to see if Lopetegui and Tim Steidten want to do any further business in and out of the club between now and the end of August.
