Aaron Wan-Bissaka agent makes desperate David Sullivan and West Ham United transfer approach
West Ham United sources suggest Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s agent is desperate for him to leave Manchester United for East London, according to Hammers News.
The outlet reported on its website on Tuesday (16 July) that the Red Devils’ defender’s representative Will Salthouse is pleading with David Sullivan to sign the right-back during the summer transfer window.
Salthouse is understood to be a close friend of one of the Hammers chief’s sons and is believed to have played a major role in the Irons’ appointment of Julen Lopetegui following David Moyes’ exit.
As quoted by Hammers News, the source said: “Will Salthouse is desperate to get Sullivan to take Wan-Bissaka. I understand Salthouse is trying to get the deal done and there is definite interest from West Ham.
“A problem is wages as Wan-Bissaka would need to take a pay cut.”

West Ham need to add some depth to their defence this summer and while the addition of Max Kilman has solved problems centrally, further additions are still required at fullback ahead of the new season.
While Vladimir Coufal has been a reasonably consistent performer throughout his time at the London Stadium, he has been linked with a move away from East London. Even if he stays, he needs some competition for a starting role.
Wan-Bissaka has all the assets required to flourish under the management of Lopetegui. Out of possession, there are few better fullbacks in the division and he has the talent ahead of him to flourish with the ball.
If the United man’s agent is as desperate to see this deal over the line as has been reported, the Hammers should have no issue striking a deal, as long as the defender is willing to take a pay cut.
Agreeing terms with United may be slightly more difficult unless the Red Devils are finally willing to cash in this summer.
