David Moyes confirmed on talkSPORT this week that he’s set to sign a new three-year contract to extend his stay at West Ham.
Moyes has led the Hammers to a superb sixth-placed finish in the Premier League and as a result qualified for the Europa League.
However, the manager’s existing contract at the London Stadium is due to expire now that the season is over.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Moyes has confirmed a new longer new is in the offing.
He said: “We’re there. For me in life now, it’s not about how big my contract is or how long it is. I want to be happy and know the people are going to give me all the support I need.
“I need support from inside, I need support from the club and I have to say they have been fantastic in helping me and allowing me to get on with it.
“If I was giving myself any praise over the year, it would be I have tended to build clubs and make them better and I hope I can do that with West Ham over the coming years.
“That’s what we’re looking at [a three-year contract].”
We asked our panel of West Ham Super Fans for what they think about the news and, as expected, they were all over the moon with Moyes’ update.

It’s an absolute no-brainer to get Moyes tied down for longer.
While some fans had reservations about the Scot ahead of his return to the London Stadium after Manuel Pellegrini left, it’s fair to say those doubts have disappeared.
He’s made huge improvements in the transfer window, bringing in quality signings like Tomas Soucek, Jarrod Bowen, Vladimir Coufal, Jesse Lingard and Craig Dawson and improved players already at the club like Angelo Ogbonna, Aaron Cresswell and Michail Antonio.
Moyes knows the Premier League better than most other managers in English football so it would be foolish to get rid of a boss who’s taken this club from the brink of relegation to the brink of the top-four.
Getting him tied down is the biggest signing we’ll make this summer.
In other West Ham news, this “world-famous” Hammer is wanted by a club in Europe and a loan-to-buy deal is on the cards.
