West Ham Super Fans were unhappy with Craig Dawson’s performance on Saturday and want him dropped for Kurt Zouma.
Having signed the France international this summer, he was an unused substitute over the weekend against Southampton.
Thankfully, the Hammers did not lose the game despite going down to ten men and came away with a 0-0 draw.
However, there was a moment in the game where Dawson could’ve cost his side the game and fans on Facebook were not too impressed by his performances.
They would like to see Zouma thrown into the starting eleven and keep Dawson away from the playing eleven as he’s been viewed as something of a liability.
Here’s what they said:
Plenty of chances
Dawson has been handed a number of opportunities to prove his worth and while he’s had a few decent performances, all in all, he’s looked vulnerable and Moyes would be better off without him.
He was signed as a fourth-choice centre-back and must go back to that spot, especially now that Zouma has come in.
The only competition should be between Issa Diop and Angelo Ogbonna, of which we believe Ogbonna will win out, given that Moyes prefers him to Diop.
That said, we cannot wait to see Zouma integrated into the squad and hopefully he starts against Dinamo Zagreb and then Manchester United on the weekend.
