West Ham are reportedly gearing up a move to bring Torino striker Andrea Belotti to the London Stadium.

According to WestHamFans.org, the London outfit are keen on reigniting their interest next summer as well.

The 27-year-old’s contract at the Serie A outfit expires at the end of this season, so he would be available on a free should he not extend it.

This sent West Ham fans on Facebook into ecstasy as it’s been two windows since they’ve wanted the club to sign a striker.

Belotti’s a proven player in one of the top five European leagues and is a full Italy international who’s played in the big games.

Here’s how the Hammers faithful reacted:

Good move

Belotti is a top striker who would add value to this side and be an upgrade on Michail Antonio.

The Jamaica international may have started the season well, but is injury prone, and is also on the wrong side of 30.

The Italian is 27 and would give this side at least another four or five years at his very best.

He’s an expert at finding the back of the net and we expect him to thrive at the Hammers.
