Mohammed Kudus is now in London ahead of undergoing West Ham medical

Mohammed Kudus has arrived in London ahead of completing a medical before making his switch to West Ham official, according to Dharmesh Sheth.

The Sky Sports News reporter provided an update via his personal Twitter account (26 August), revealing that the 23-year-old Ghana international has already arrived in the English capital.

He is set to complete his medical later today, Saturday 26 August, ahead of sealing his £38million switch from Dutch giants Ajax.

Kudus is set to sign a five-year contract with David Moyes’ side, which will include the option to extend for a further year.

Here we go

All being well, it should now just be a matter of hours until supporters at the London Stadium get their first official sight of Kudus in a West Ham shirt. Players very rarely fail their medical, which means if that is the only hurdle left to clear, the deal is now as good as done and fans can sit back and kick their feet up.

It represents a very exciting signing and one that has seen the Hammers stave off competition from plenty of other clubs. Kudus is a man who was on the radar of multiple top sides in Europe, including Brighton, who were close to a deal before it collapsed earlier this summer.

West Ham

His arrival demonstrates the pulling power of the East London outfit who have done some fantastic business this summer and reinvested the Declan Rice money wisely.

Although they lost their best player, they now look like a better team on paper.

In other West Ham news, Moyes has revealed how many more signings he wants following the arrival of Kudus.
