Danny Ings sends two-word message to Jarrod Bowen after West Ham United draw v Fulham
Danny Ings has called West Ham teammate Jarrod Bowen his “brother” after assisting his 95th-minute equaliser against Fulham.
Posting onto his Instagram page, Hammers captain Bwowen received praise from the goal scorer, who he helped salvage a point in a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage.
Ings’ substitute appearance proved priceless as the 32-year-old scored with his only shot of the game.
In a hearty message, the striker posted a picture of himself and Bowen celebrating the last-minute game decider, with “my brother” and a heart added to the photo.
Can West Ham rely on Danny Ings?
The Hammers have had a mixed start to the season, with four points from a possible 12 in the Premier League.
A win against Crystal Palace, and two losses to Aston Villa and Manchester City, means the Irons sit in 14th place in the league.
Manager Julen Lopetegui has opted to start Michail Antonio in each of the four matches, with new signing Niclas Fullkrug the preferred substitute.
That said, Ings now has more goals than both players in the English top division this season, which will give the Spanish manager some thinking to do.

The seasoned striker has 72 Premier League goals to his name, five more than Antonio, which is a positive problem to have for the 58-year-old gaffer.
Fullkrug’s Achilles injury is keeping him out of the team, though the Hammers don’t believe it’s serious, meaning this could be Ings’ chance to prove he can be the starting striker if he is given an opportunity against Chelsea on Saturday (21 September).
