West Ham United transfer news: Progress made on Wilfried Zaha deal
West Ham and Tim Steidten already appear to have begun working on new signings with an update emerging on ex Crystal Palace and Manchester United attacker Wilfried Zaha.
According to Turkish media outlet Takvim on 22 March the Hammers are favourites to sign the winger and the move could even be made official.
Since leaving Palace, Zaha is now plying his trade in Turkey, representing Galatasaray.
A good transfer for West Ham?
As an experienced and talented winger, Zaha possesses exceptional dribbling skills, pace and goal-scoring ability.
His presence on the field adds creativity and unpredictability to the attack, making him a valuable asset for any team and he was on the club’s radar in January as well.
Additionally, Zaha’s Premier League experience and familiarity with the English footballing style make him a seamless fit for West Ham’s setup.
Proactive transfer plans may help the Hammers
Furthermore, the discussion of potential outgoing and incoming players in Galatasaray suggests that negotiations are at an advanced stage, indicating proactive planning by both clubs for the upcoming transfer window.

Whether or not he’s still got the hunger and desire, remains to be seen, but it is good to see the Hammers being so proactive with regards to transfers.
