West Ham United to sack David Moyes only option now as Premier League survival chances start to diminish
West Ham United now have no option but to sack David Moyes after their shocking 5-1 defeat against Newcastle United at home at the London Stadium on Wednesday night.
Although the Magpies are flying high in the Premier League, the manner in which the Hammers lost in East London was unforgivable and has surely left Moyes’ position at the club untenable.
The pressure has been on Moyes for months [Sky Sports].

And while we’ve all heard the same rubbish from David Sullivan that he’s not going to get rid of Moyes any time soon and that he’s putting his full faith in the Scot, the West Ham chairman is obviously backing the manager blindly.
If Sullivan was to open his eyes, he’d see that West Ham are actually in a lot of trouble.
After losing 5-1 to Newcastle in such terrible fashion, the Irons are 15th in the Premier League, level on points with Bournemouth – in 18th and in the relegation zone.
Only our -13 goal difference is saving us right now but that took a battering at the hands of Eddie Howe’s side.

Leicester, who are 19th, have a better goal difference, thanks to a defensive disasterclass.
Moyes’ fury was pointed out by BBC Sport with the Hammers boss regularly being clocked by TV cameras looking absolutely livid with his players conceding such ridiculously bad goals.
It’s too tight to sit still.
Crystal Palace, Leeds and Wolves have all changed managers this season and those three clubs look the likeliest of the bottom eight to stay up right now.
Everton are below us but have Sean Dyche so they should be fine, Leicester have some quality players who can turn things around and are set to have a new manager too.
That leaves us, Southampton, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest as the four who are probably going to be in the dropzone come the end of Matchday 38.
Moyes has to go. And he has to go now – before it’s too late.
