West Ham United ‘Solet boost emerges’ after Fabrizio Romano transfer update
West Ham United may be in for another significant summer transfer window as Graham Potter struggles to turn the tide at the London Stadium.
The Hammers dropped more points at home as Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth salvaged a 2-2 draw in the Premier League on Saturday (5 April).
While there has been an apparent improvement in the East London outfit’s performances, the results over the last few months have still been underwhelming.
Max Kilman and Jean-Clair Todibo’s partnership in defence hasn’t bore the fruits fans had expected at the start of the season, leaving the Irons with an evident need for reinforcements.

Oumar Solet transfer wanted at West Ham
Oumar Solet is attracting interest from the Hammers ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Messaggero Veneto.
The news outlet reported (27 March) that Potter’s team have the Udinese centre-back on their radar and are set to make an approach for the £25million-rated star.
With an abundance of defenders at the Irons, they would arguably need to sell someone to make further additions to their backline.
The East London outfit have been handed a significant boost in their pursuit of the 25-year-old Frenchman from Fabrizio Romano.

Romano reveals Solet change amid summer transfer interest
Konstantinos Mavropanos’ departure from the London Stadium looks realistic, considering his lack of game time this season.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Greek defender wanting to leave the Hammers after losing his place in the starting lineup.
The former Arsenal ace’s departure would evidently leave the Irons with a lack of options in defence, with Vladimir Coufal and Aaron Cresswell deputising as centre-backs in recent matches.
That’s where West Ham could potentially pounce on Solet’s signature, with the Udinese star signing with new agents, Unique Sports Group, according to Romano.
The Italian journalist revealed on X (7 April) that he expects activity surrounding the French centre-back after his impressive performances in Serie A.
🚨 Udinese defender Oumar Solet has signed with new agents as he will be represented by Unique Sports Group.

A change in management may point to the 25-year-old’s willingness for a change next summer, having only recently joined Udinese in the winter transfer window from Red Bull Salzburg.
Julen Lopetegui’s exit hasn’t led to the changes many London Stadium faithful had hoped for, with the problems at the Irons seemingly running deeper.
The East London club are 16th in the Premier League under Potter, and several questions will need to be answered at the end of the campaign.
Whether Solet is part of the changes at the Hammers next summer remains to be seen.
