West Ham United should secure deal for Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic
West Ham must move quickly to secure a deal for Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic in the summer transfer window.
The Daily Mail reported on 8 June (printed edition, page 66) that the 24-year-old striker has emerged as a target for the Hammers, as David Moyes is looking to add depth in the forward department.
Signing a striker is a priority for the Hammers this summer, having failed to land one in their past three transfer windows. It would be a catastrophe if they fail to do so once again.

Michail Antonio remains the only striker at the club, and he needs competition in the forward role.
West Ham sent scouts to watch Austria play Denmark in Vienna, and they must look to make a concrete effort for his signature.
According to German newspaper Bild on 10 June, the striker is “most likely to leave” this summer.
The Hammers could face competitions from German clubs like Bayern Munich and Borrusia Dortmund, but they should focus on their own transfer plans.
Kalajdzic netted 23 times in 54 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit, and scored a crucial goal against FC Cologne in the last game of the season, as the club narrowly avoided the relegation play-off.

He is 6ft 7 in height and his physical presence would make a potent option for the Hammers. Along with Antonio, he would add an extra dimension to the side.
Kalajdzic is not like Sebatien Haller. He is equally good at hold-up play, and the likes of Pablo Fornals and Jarrod Bowen would flourish alongside him.
At 24, his best years are ahead of him, and it’s high time, the Hammers make a smart move and grab his signature ahead of other suitors. It could be a transfer masterstroke from Moyes if he can pull off a deal.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers are keeping a close eye on Bayern Munich midfielder.
