West Ham United should not worry as Bournemouth enter Emmanuel Dennis race
The desire to sign an attacker has not gone away for West Ham United despite the arrival of Italian international Gianluca Scamacca.
David Moyes would still be in the market for a left winger if the right deal were to present itself to the Irons and that could come in the form of Watford’s Emmanuel Dennis.
The Nigerian came from nowhere to be the surprise package of the 2021-22 Premier League season with 10 goals as the Hornets were sent back down to the Championship.
West Ham now want to bring the 24-year-old to the London Stadium but, according to L’Equipe journalist Loic Tanzi, there are two more top flight sides in England wanting a piece of the action.
Tanzi reported via Twitter that newly-promoted Nottingham Forest and now Bournemouth are also chasing a deal to sign Dennis who may want out of Vicarage Road after their drop in division.
Increased interest from within the same division usually comes with nervous feelings at every club involved but there should be no such panic or uncertainty at Rush Green.
When Dennis looks at the three clubs chasing his signature, he will see two clubs who have only just arrived on the scene of the Premier League and could well end up going straight back down in the near future.

But West Ham could not be further from that having been almost ever-present in the Premier League era and coming straight back up anytime they have gone down.
They also have European football to boast about for a second successive season which looks very far away for Forest and the Cherries.
Once one of these clubs makes a genuine move for the Nigerian, then the Irons can start to worry and make their own move but as long as all offers are the same, he will choose the London Stadium every single time.
