West Ham United need to move rapid to sign Keane Lewis-Potter after big update

West Ham need to move sooner rather than later to secure the signing of key Hull City winger Keane Lewis-Potter after the latest developments.

16 goal involvements in the Championship whilst featuring in all of the Tigers’ 46 games has seen the 21-year-old become one of the most in-demand names in the league.

The England under-21 international has been on the Irons’ radar for quite some time now with Tottenham and Leicester City also in the race for his signature, according to The Sunday People (May 22, page 51)

The Hammers will have to move sharply with three Premier League clubs already making offers for the youngster.

Hull’s vice-chairman Tan Kesler told Hull Live: “When we bought a risky team, we believed that we could turn it into an opportunity.

“We are slowly starting to reap the fruits. For example, Lewis-Potter has three offers from the Premier League.”

Move now.

A reoccurring feature of West Ham’s recent transfer windows has been them moving far too late to make their move in the market and in turn missing out on their targets.

David Moyes and co desperately need to learn from their mistakes and get ahead of the rest – not just with Lewis-Potter but with all of the players they are interested in.

With three clubs having already bid for the forward, the Irons most likely won’t be able to get ahead of the pack but with that being said – the Premier League trio haven’t been named and the east Londoners are hopefully one of the said teams.

It is imperative that the London Stadium outfit strengthen its squad in the summer. It was looked rather depleted at times during the 2021/22 campaign and that was before several players departed.

They have built up a lot of momentum over the last couple of seasons and with European football for the second consecutive season – their ambition on the pitch needs to be matched off the pitch, with signings.
