West Ham United make massive mistake with Sonny Perkins deal
West Ham have made a massive mistake with their treatment of starlet Sonny Perkins with the striker set to leave the club, as reported by The Guardian.
The Hammers look “increasingly likely” to lose the starlet after a disagreement over his new deal which is no surprise.
This isn’t the first time the east Londoners have risked losing a very good player due to their unwillingness to part with their money and it certainly won’t be the last.

The 18-year-old’s contract expires at the end of June but they believe his wage demands are too high and are holding their ground, unwilling to break the clubs’ wage structure.
You can certainly understand the Irons standing their ground but an agreement needs to be made before the club massively regrets it.
Tottenham, Leeds United and Aston Villa are all circling for the teenage sensation and nobody wants to go and see him be a future star anywhere other than the London Stadium – especially at Spurs.
David Moyes will be absolutely gutted by these developments after he backed the striker three times in the first team in the 2021/22 campaign.
Playing Perkins in the Premier League and twice in the Europa League goes to show high highly the Scot rates him.

His 11 goal involvements in 20 games for the U23s is further proof of his ability at such a young age.
It is a double-edged sword because in an ideal world, West Ham would pay him what he wants and most probably what he deserves and he would stay and the London Stadium for the foreseeable future.
However, they are tight which in this situation is somewhat understandable. You simply can’t have an 18-year-old making demands and forcing the club into breaking their wage structure.
The Irons simply need to have one eye on the future with this one. After all, they would hate seeing Perkins become a world-beater elsewhere because they were unwilling to give him a little bit of extra money.
