West Ham United given big hint over Gianluca Scamacca future after friendly omission
West Ham United’s pursuit of Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca is still ongoing but they may have been offered a big hint about his future.
The Irons are said to have had a bid worth £34million accepted by the Serie A side [Alfredo Pedulla] that will go on to raise towards £40millions once add-ons are factored into the equation.
To make things even better for West Ham, Pedulla also believes that Scamacca himself has accepted the terms put in front of him by the club which could mean an announcement may come in the coming days.
The 23-year-old’s exit from Italy seems inevitable now and there has now been a big hint to suggest that it is the case and that a London Stadium move is imminent.
According to Sassuolo News on Twitter, Scamacca has been omitted from Sassuolo’s friendly squad for their game against Polish top division side Jablonec.
Whether he is absent due to an impending transfer or if he just isn’t fit has not been specified but you would expect that we would not pursue a transfer for a player who is not fully fit straight away given that he would need to pass a medical to sign for us.

Paris Saint-Germain may have been considering a move for the Sassuolo talisman but they have not made any kind of advances like we have which leaves us way out in front in the race for his signature.
He is exactly the kind of striker we have been craving for more than a year since Sebastien Haller left for Ajax and now we finally seem to be closing in on ending Michail Antonio’s solo effort up top.
David Moyes is working wonders in the transfer market so let’s hope it continues all the way to transfer deadline day.
