West Ham United: David Moyes must bring on Michail Antonio at half-time to secure Freiburg win
West Ham are seeking to go on another lengthy run in Europe this season, having lifted the Europa Conference League last time out.
That success has resulted in a Europa League place, with the Hammers now into the last 16 after topping their group.
German outfit SC Freiburg now stand in their way, with the East London outfit on the road for the first leg clash on Thursday (7 March).
A draw certainly wouldn’t be the worst result, but David Moyes will undoubtedly be aiming to leave Germany with a win ahead of the return leg at the London Stadium.
And the man in the away dugout can definitely help his cause by turning to his bench at half-time, with Michail Antonio waiting in the wings.
The striker has missed a large chunk of the season through injury, but he should be eager to make an impact against the Bundesliga club.
All he needs is a chance from his manager, although Moyes will understandably be very reluctant to withdraw one of Jarrod Bowen or Mohammed Kudus at the interval.
Will David Moyes turn to West Ham ace Michail Antonio versus Freiburg?
Antonio would, however, bring plenty of energy and physicality to the affair, while he also has the ability to find the back of the net when it matters.
The Jamaican international has proven that ability at times this season, but certainly not enough for the liking of the West Ham fans.

The striker could, however, change that with an important goal on the road in Freiburg, a match that the Hammers should win given how they have already overcome the German side twice in the competition this season.
