West Ham United could seal dream transfer window as David Moyes chase three players

West Ham have already secured three signings this summer, but it can only get better in the coming weeks.

It became increasingly clear that the Hammers needed to make at least five or six signings this summer to bolster the squad, and David Moyes is working on it.

Moyes will be seen as a transfer genius, if the Hammers can bring their three major targets to the club.

West Ham

According to a report from The Telegraph (18 July), the Hammers are closing in on a deal for Armando Broja. The player has flown back to the UK from Chelsea’s pre-season tour of the United States, and talks are ongoing between the clubs over a permanent deal.

The 20-year-old has become a “top target” for Moyes after he scored nine goals for Southampton whilst on loan last season (2021-22).

The report further adds that The Hammers remain keen on re-signing Jesse Lingard who is now a free agent after leaving Manchester United.

There is optimism that the attacking midfielder could be returning to the London Stadium after he impressed heavily during his loan spell at the club.

West Ham are also keen to land Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca, and have already submitted a bid in the region £33m (plus add ons) for the player.

If they can land all these three players, Moyes will definitely seal a transfer masterstroke.

The interesting part is – the Hammers can actually get all three of them.

Moyes has always wanted to add quality players to his ranks, and he is building a solid team here.
