West Ham on Jarrod Bowen red alert with Sadio Mane set for Liverpool exit

West Ham will be quaking in their boots as the latest developments in Liverpool could see star attacker Jarrod Bowen leave in the summer.

The Hammers ace has had a breath-taking season for the London Stadium, being involved in 31 goals across all competitions as David Moyes’ side exceeded all expectations.

His form has been that good, Gareth Southgate decided to hand the winger his debut England call up to – hopefully – face Hungary, Germany and Italy in the Nations League.

The attention Bowen has been subject to thanks to his brilliant campaign has not been all good for the Irons though.

Liverpool have expressed their interest in the England international as they look to continually improve their squad, according to Fabrizio Romano

A move looked unlikely with the Reds’ riches in attack after signing Luis Diaz in January but with Sadio Mane now set to leave amid Bayern Munich interest – Jurgen Klopp might want to revisit the idea of adding Bowen to the squad.

Please, no.

It would be a complete catastrophe if Bowen left for Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

West Ham

The Merseysiders are the only club who have expressed any serious interest in the former Hull City ace and their unwillingness to spend was another factor in these reports not being taken too seriously in east London.

David Moyes and co have now been placed firmly on red alert as the domestic cup double winners look to replace Mane who has been one of Europe’s top performers since arriving at Anfield.

You would have thought that West Ham supporters would be used to it by now but it is becoming increasingly frustrating that as soon as one of the Irons’ players shows the tiniest glimpse of potential – everybody swarms.

The Hammers are undoubtedly set for a torrid summer where their best players will be continuously linked away. Hopefully, they can not only keep hold of them but make some additions to the squad too.
