West Ham must sign serial winner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in summer
West Ham need to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the summer transfer market with Liverpool willing to sell the midfielder, according to Mirror.
The England international has just one year left on his Anfield contract and the Hammers along with Aston Villa have both been put on “red alert”.
The Villans might have a slight upper hand with Steven Gerrard’s Merseyside connections – the former Liverpool captain is a long term admirer of the versatile ace.

However, east London is by far the more attractive location right now as the Irons challenge in Europa and at the top end of the Premier League and they must go into battle for him.
Him being available for around £10million is an absolute steal – a deal that the Hammers simply can’t miss out on as they look to improve the quality and depth of their squad.
No brainer.
The Ox is the exact type of player that West Ham need to target in the summer transfer window.
He has the perfect blend of experience, current form and years left in the tank to play a key part in the squad and for so cheap – Moyes would be stupid not to do everything to bring him to the London Stadium.
The 28-year-old has barely played for Jurgen Klopp’s side this season but that is more testament to their wealth in quality rather than his shortcomings.

When Chamberlain has played, he has done excellently – notching six goals and assists this season with very, very limited chances.
The dynamo has won everything there is to win as a player and played a key role in doing so which would go a long way in this squad.
This group of players needs a few winners – people who will grab games by the scruff of their neck and take control, someone who they can look to for guidance.
He is a top player and all he needs is to be playing consistently to shine which is something the Irons can certainly offer him.
