West Ham fans will fear the worst after what Chris Sutton just said about Fulham clash
West Ham United are in real danger of being cut adrift from safety in the Premier League relegation zone as they welcome Fulham to the London Stadium on Saturday.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are now on a run of six games without a win, and sit five points behind 17th-placed Nottingham Forest.
West Ham are set for a busy January transfer window next month, but before then they face a tough test against a well-organised Fulham side.
The Cottagers have won their both of their last two Premier League games, and will be confident that they can make it three on the bounce given the recent form of their opposition.

Chris Sutton tips trouble at West Ham
Nuno replaced Graham Potter at West Ham back in September, and looked to be turning the tide when the Hammers secured wins over Newcastle United and Burnley.
However, the East London side haven’t picked up three points since, and tension is starting to grow among the fanbase.
According to former Premier League winner Chris Sutton, West Ham could be set for more trouble as they take on Fulham at the London Stadium.

In his weekly BBC Sport prediction column, Sutton tipped Marco Silva’s side to secure a 2-1 win over the lacklustre Hammers.
He said: “There does not seem to be much Christmas cheer at London Stadium at the moment, and if they get off to a bad start here, things could turn quite quickly.”

West Ham fans are running out of hope
West Ham fans will be getting increasingly worried at their side’s poor run of form in recent weeks, especially as the teams around them start to pick up points.
There won’t be many supporters disagreeing with Sutton’s prediction either, given the East London outfit’s current situation.
The Hammers have had some tough fixtures, and losing to Manchester City, Liverpool and Aston Villa is unlikely to define their season, but the Fulham game now takes on a much greater importance.
Nuno’s side are unlikely to receive much leeway from the London Stadium faithful if they go a goal behind on Saturday, which could lead to a very toxic atmosphere.
West Ham will hope to secure a positive result against Fulham and alleviate some of their relegation fears.
