View: West Ham dangerously close to repeating January transfer blunder
West Ham fans should be furious after transfer insider Dean Jones shared that “everything’s on hold” at the club ahead of the summer transfer window.
The January window was a disaster for the Hammers as they failed to strengthen their squad.
They completely failed to plan and left it far too late to submit a host of last-gasp bids that never seemed likely to come to fruition.

David Sullivan and co clearly haven’t learned from their mistakes as Jones shares inside knowledge on the Irons’ plans.
He told GIVEMESPORT: “They’re not really moving forward with anything at the moment. Everything’s on hold.
“They’ve got a list they’ve put together and most of the list is similar to January.”
Must learn.
Why are West Ham on hold as every single other team looks to get their business done early? Do they have no sense at all?
Not only does bringing potential signings in early prevent other teams from making their move but it gives David Moyes more time to work with the player(s) to ensure they integrate into the team as quickly and smoothly as possible.

The Hammers are more desperate for players now than they were in January and that is saying something.
The momentum must be built on after West Ham’s most successful season in recent history.
They need to sign quality players that will genuinely improve the squad which means other teams are likely to be trying to sign them as well.
If the Hammers don’t plan ahead, they will be left watching on as everyone else does their business which will force them to overspend in a panic buying frenzy or worse – but more likely – not sign anyone at all.
