View: David Moyes needs to learn and rest West Ham ace Michail Antonio
David Moyes needs to learn his lesson with West Ham attacker Michail Antonio after his lacklustre performance yesterday [April 17] against Burnley.
The Jamaican international has been brilliant this season but the burden of being the only striker in the squad has taken its toll on him at times.
He boasts a respectable tally of 20 goals but if he had played less during the Hammers’ very congested fixture pile-up this campaign he could have done much better.

Continuously having to go again every time the Irons play – which has been a lot with them pushing late into all competitions – has seen his levels in front of goal drop and squander chances he really should be scoring.
The answer.
With all of West Ham’s eggs now seemingly in the Europa League basket, Moyes should come up with a new alternative for the striker position.
The Irons have so much more to benefit from winning the Europa League and Antonio should be rested ahead of the two Eintracht Frankfurt games, that is imperative.

If they go on to win the competition not only would it bring them a trophy it would also secure Champions League football at the London Stadium for next season.
Whereas, their league form of late has toiled with them now only likely to finish high enough for a UEFA Europa Conference League spot.
Moyes could use Andriy Yarmolenko as an alternative up top. He has proven himself to have an eye for goal recently when coming on and the Ukraine international could do with some game time.
He holds all of the qualities needed for a striker and it would give Antonio a much-needed rest.
