Sullivan must make Lopetegui West Ham sack decision amid Conceicao Wolves update
David Sullivan must decide quickly whether to sack Julen Lopetegui at West Ham now that Gary O’Neil has been sacked by Wolves.
The Old Gold made the decision to sack the 41-year-old on Sunday (15 December) after a defeat against Ipswich Town followed a loss against the Hammers.
The side placed 19th in the Premier League is now in search of a new head coach and could beat the Irons to the punch with Sergio Conceicao.
West Ham must make Julen Lopetegui sack decision amid Sergio Conceicao Wolves odds
The former Porto boss has been linked with a move to the London Stadium in recent weeks but Lopetegui has kept his job to this point.
The Portuguese manager now looks to be one of the favourites to take over at Molineux with BetVictor naming him as the third favourite at 8/1, behind Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Carlos Corberan.
With that being said, if Sullivan wants Conceicao and remains unsure about the Spaniard in East London, he needs to make that decision quickly.
Wolves aren’t going to wait around now, they have a vacant position they need to fill and they could opt to bring the 50-year-old in.

This would leave limited options for the Irons to choose from if they were to sack Lopetegui in the coming weeks and if form and performances don’t pick up.
If the West Midlands outfit are to bring in the ex-Nantes head coach as a replacement for O’Neil, the Hammers could be left with egg on their face.
