Stiedten must make Leif Davis move at West Ham amid latest Emerson development
Tim Steidten must reignite interest in signing Leif Davis from Ipswich after the latest update on Emerson’s situation at West Ham.
Following reports from JuveLive that state the defender is unhappy at West Ham, the club may have to explore their options in the January transfer window and it’s unlikely they’ll have to look far.
The Hammers were linked with a summer move for Davis (GiveMeSport) and Ipswich’s failure to adapt to Premier League football could provide a potential encouragement for him to leave.
It was previously reported that Ipswich would be looking for around £20 million to sanction his sale although that may have increased since.
West Ham must make a move for Leif Davis
Davis was one of the Championship’s top performers last campaign, with an ability to contribute at both ends of the pitch to good effect.
His set-piece ability was second to none while showcasing his willingness to get up and down the left flank for Ipswich.
With Emerson’s reported unhappiness alongside the poor form of Vladimir Coufal, West Ham will very possibly be looking to add numbers to the full-back ranks at the London Stadium and a move for Davis makes sense for everyone involved.

The Irons will likely have other targets in mind if they do choose to go down that route, but a return for Davis could be a serious possibility.
January could prove to be a telling factor as to how the Hammers will fare throughout the remainder of the season after what has been an underwhelming campaign so far.
In other West Ham news, a Premier League centre-back has been linked with a switch to the London Stadium.
