Predicted West Ham starting XI v Rapid Wien

West Ham United welcome Rapid Wien to the London Stadium on Thursday looking to continue their perfect start to the Europa League.

The Irons eased past Dinamo Zagreb on the opening matchday in Croatia and now play at home against the Austrians.

David Moyes will once again look to rotate his squad as he has done in every competition so far this season.

West Ham

Alphonse Areola will start in-between the sticks replacing Lukasz Fabianski after his impressive performance at Leeds.

Ryan Fredericks would have started if it wasn’t for his injury, meaning Vladimir Coufal will keep his spot at right-back.

Issa Diop will come into the side and partner Kurt Zouma, handing Angelo Ogbonna the perfect chance to rest.

Finishing the back four will be Ben Johnson after Aaron Cresswell looked tired towards the end of the win at Leeds.

West Ham

Declan Rice is simply undroppable at this moment, and he will keep his spot captaining the side in Europe.

Alex Kral will come into the side as he looks to get familiar with his new surroundings at the London Stadium.

Ahead of them will be Manuel Lanzini, who will want to build on that goal from the Carabao Cup clash at Manchester United.

West Ham

Andriy Yarmolenko and Nikola Vlasic will play in the front three, with Jarrod Bowen the only player not to be rested so far this season.

Ahead of them will be Michail Antonio, and we’ll be backing the Jamaican international to continue his form in front of goal should he start.

Here’s how we expect the Irons to line up…
