Paqueta is seen as important to Nuno, and the Brazilian has already started in both of the head coach’s first games in charge of the Hammers.
The attacking midfielder seems back to his best in a West Ham shirt, and individually has had a great start to the season.

Paqueta is finding the net more often this season, and playing him in a false 9 position, with Jarrod Bowen, Crysencio Summerville and Mateus Fernandes all supporting him, could work well against Brentford.
Not only that, but a striker’s role is more than just scoring goals, as this specific position for Paqueta would unlock the best out of players around him.

The Brazilian has a good on-field relationship with Bowen, and they both work well in the final third.
