Mohammed Kudus and Dinos Mavropanos to make full Premier League debut – Predicted West Ham United XI v Sheffield United

David Moyes could be set to ring the changes once again for the West Ham Premier League clash with Sheffield United this weekend at the London Stadium.

The Hammers bounced back from defeat to Liverpool at Anfield with a 1-0 win over Lincoln in the Carabao Cup thanks to Tomas Soucek’s goal, and now host the Blades as they look to get back to winning ways in the Premier League.

And Moyes has some big decisions to make on his team after handing several players a rest in midweek, and that could see some players left out despite their good form.

Alphonse Areola will take his place back between the sticks as the number one goalkeeper at the London Stadium these days, despite Lukasz Fabianski’s clean sheet in the cup.

Vladimir Coufal and Emerson Palmieri should come back into the side at full-back in place of Thilo Kehrer and the out-of-favour Ben Johnson, while captain Kurt Zouma is also likely to come back into the fold ahead of Italy international Angelo Ogbonna.

But Nayef Aguerd’s place is under threat after some questionable performances, and Dinos Mavropanos is ready to step in after his summer transfer and could make his full debut in the competition for the Hammers.

Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse have struck up a great relationship in the centre of midfield since they joined from Ajax and Southampton during the transfer window and will start again if available as expected.

Just ahead of them Lucas Paqueta should get the nod once more in a more advanced position, as he looks to continue his excellent form which could see midweek goalscorer Soucek drop to the bench.

Jarrod Bowen returned to the team last week despite barely training and scored, but was rested in midweek and could now return to the side to continue his excellent start to the season.

On the other side both Mohammed Kudus and Said Benrahma started against Lincoln and the Ghana forward continues to impress, and this could be the perfect opportunity for him to make his full Premier League bow from the left wing.

Danny Ings has continued to struggle in attack and is firmly behind Michail Antonio in the number nine role now, with the Jamaica international set to get the start once again.
