Divin Mubama must leave West Ham United in January amid latest transfer news, but David Moyes needs him
West Ham don’t exactly have endless options when it comes to strikers, with Michail Antonio and Danny Ings seemingly numbers one and two respectively.
The former has led the line more often than not under David Moyes this season, with the latter largely reduced to substitute appearances.
There is, however, youngster Divin Mubama waiting in the wings, but the 19-year-old has barely kicked a ball this season, featuring for just 25 minutes in all competitions.

That snub from Moyes really is a strange one given how the young striker was not only used in the Europa Conference League last time out, but also given how he found the back of the net.
Adding further confusion to the situation is the fact that the Hammers lost a man in that area in the summer, with Gianluca Scamacca moving to Atalanta.
And rather than being handed more responsibility by Moyes, Mubama looks like he will follow Scamacca out the exit door at the London Stadium.
According to Claret & Hugh (8 November), the teenager is a target for Championship club Watford in the January transfer window.

The player’s current deal is set to expire in the summer, and given how he recently turned down a new deal, a January sale certainly makes sense for West Ham as to avoid losing Mubama for free at the end of the season.
He is, of course, still very young, but plenty of disrespect has been shown to the attacker, who really should be getting more minutes at this stage of his career.
So, while Moyes needs the striker given his lack of options centrally in the finally third, Mubama should do his all to force through a January exit.
In other West Ham news, club scouts have been joined by Arsenal and Tottenham in the pursuit of a 10-goal international striker.
