David Moyes must instil ‘never-give-up attitude’ at West Ham United as ‘very different’ Premier League picture emerges
West Ham have endured a roller-coaster Premier League campaign, with the club having been flying high in the early stages.
But with other competitions creating a hectic schedule for the Hammers, they have fallen down to ninth place in the table.
David Moyes’s side have the chance to claw back a few places when they travel to Tottenham on Thursday (7 December), but taking three points from their London rivals is going to be a very tricky task indeed.

A victory may be achieved, however, if the visitors can take a page from the book of their hosts and play right until the very last whistle.
Ange Postecoglou’s men did exactly that in their 3-3 draw with Manchester City on Sunday (3 December), with Arsenal also producing a never-say-die attitude to clinch all three points against Luton Town on Tuesday (5 December).
As per the official Premier League website (6 December), the Premier League table would look “very different” without late goals, which have come about thanks to a “never-give-up attitude.”

Indeed, without goals scored in the 89th minute or later, Arsenal would be second in the standings as opposed to first, while Manchester City would be top as opposed to third.
West Ham meanwhile have also benefitted from such a feat this season. As opposed to occupying ninth place, the Hammers would be sitting two spots further back in 11th had it not been for goals scored after 89+ minutes.
As always, European spots are up for grabs this season, and late goals may just be the difference between the men in claret and blue securing such a spot and not securing one.
In other West Ham news, a Sky Sports pundit was stunned by what one Hammers ace did in the first half of the recent Premier League clash against Crystal Palace.
